The Black Canyon of the Bear River in Idaho is an amazing experience. This stretch of river used to be considered a once in a lifetime opportunity since it was rarely allowed to flow. A few years ago, American Whitewater with the help of local paddlers negotiated the a yearly release for this beautiful canyon. Now we are able to experince this class 4/5 whitewater every year. We are so grateful for the opportunity to experience this river.
